This is a sterling distinctive insignia for the United States Army Coast Artillery School. This insignia shows two crossed cannon and a mine below a wavy blue line representing water.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-1/16" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with red and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Insignia shows very light wear and slight crazing on the red enamel.
