ARTIFACT: This is a German-made United States Army 19th Maintenance Battalion distinctive insignia. The insignia shows a striking red and yellow crest and the battalion's motto: MORE THAN EXPECTED.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945-1950.

SIZE: 1-5/16" height and 1-1/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with red and yellow enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.
