This is a German-made United States Army 19th Maintenance Battalion distinctive insignia. The insignia shows a striking red and yellow crest and the battalion's motto: MORE THAN EXPECTED.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945-1950.
SIZE:1-5/16" height and 1-1/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with red and yellow enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): This badge is beautiful and wear is mostly on reverse.
