This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 10th Infantry Regiment by Vanguard. The DI is a Roman numeral ten (X) upon a Roman sword in a scabbard. A circlet on the DI reads COURAGE AND FIDELITY MDCCCLV.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:VANGUARD.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some small spots of light wear and tarnish.
