This is a beautiful shoulder patch made for the United States 8th Air Force. The patch is navy blue and shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings supporting a star.
VINTAGE:Circa early WWII.
SIZE:2-5/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt with hand-embroidered silk or cotton thread and muslin backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an early WWII collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJXL08 LHEX S/TRHEX4/10
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Color is virtually its original hue with just about no wear evident.
