ARTIFACT: This is an unusual circa 1930s Red Cross Graduate American Radiator & Standard Sanitary Corporation celluloid pin. The New Jersey corporation was formed by the merger of a plumbing company and a radiator company in 1929. The large pin was manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, New Jersey and in excellent condition.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: WHITEHEAD-HOAG NEWARK N.J.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an American Red Cross collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJX14 LHEX3/14
