ARTIFACT: This is a great uniquely painted wooden sign for the United States Army A Company, 6th Medical Battalion (6th Division). After the Japanese surrender, the 6th was assigned to the southern half of the American zone of occupation in Korea. The sign features Bugs Bunny being carried on a stretcher by Porky Pig and a colleague.

VINTAGE: Circa 1946-1949.

SIZE: Approximately 14-1/2" in height and 19-1/2" in width ½" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted plywood.

ATTACHMENT: Hole.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The sign has some slight lifting between the plywood layers at the corners and small, scattered spots of wear to the paint.
