Unique Circa 1870 "Hands Up" Rocky Mountain Mounted Patrol/Posse (RMMP) Badge

This is an 1870s Rocky Mountain Mounted Patrol (or Posse) badge. The badge reads NO. 7 UP R.M.M.P. The badge shows two hands raised in submission on either side of the word UP along with two crossed pistols and a knife.

Circa 1870s.

2-1/8" height and 2-1/16" width.

Plated brass.

Vertical safety-style pin.
