Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful near mint and unfired circa 1967 United States Navy ship Zippo lighter for the USS Vega AF-59, Service Squadron Launched April 28, 1955, the Vega was a stores ship that operated in Vietnam at this time. This lighter was factory-engraved.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1967.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" in thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass, painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Hinge.

MARKINGS:

IIII ZIPPO  IIII BRADFORD PA PAT. 2517191 on bottom.
