Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a near mint and unfired circa 1977 United States Navy ship Zippo lighter for the USS Long Beach CGN-Launched April 28, 1955, the Long Beach was a nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser. This lighter still has its original instructions under the lid.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1977.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-3/16" width and 3/8" in thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass, painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Hinge.

MARKINGS:

III ZIPPO ยจ II BRADFORD PA on bottom.
