ARTIFACT:

This is a Rare Tronto Type circa 1917 RFC Royal Flying Corps Silk Embroidered Wing made in Canada for Pilots Trained There. 

VINTAGE:

World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately: 1-9/16" in height x 4-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt with bullion and cotton/silk embroidery, woven linen backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn on.
