Rare circa 1914 - 1917 RFC Royal Flying Corps Pilot Wing Ornament in Blackened Bronze

ARTIFACT:

This is a Rare circa 1914 - 1917 RFC Royal Flying Corps Pilot Wing Ornament in Blackened Bronze. This full size "wing" was NOT worn on a uniform, but was actually produced from the die for the M1913 Dress Wing to be used as an ornamentation at the top of picture frames, on boxes, and on other souvenir type pieces. 

VINTAGE:

Circa 1914 - 1917.

SIZE:

Approximately" 1" in height x 3-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Blackened Bronze.
