Description
Swedish Red Cross Silver Medal for service in WWII in original case with miniature. The center of the medal depicts a cloaked man/solider lifting another from the ground in beautiful relief detail. The outer edge is embellished with a wreath of laurel leaves. The reverse shows the Red Cross with three crowns above it and surrounding it reads: "·SVENSKA·RODA·KORSET·". The medal is suspended from a red silk ribbon with two thin white stripes. The medal's case is lined with red velvet and white satin, the outside is red and features a brass push-button closure.
