Swedish Red Cross Silver Medal for Service in WWII in Original Case with Miniature

Swedish Red Cross Silver Medal for service in WWII in original case with miniature. The center of the medal depicts a cloaked man/solider lifting another from the ground in beautiful relief detail. The outer edge is embellished with a wreath of laurel leaves. The reverse shows the Red Cross with three crowns above it and surrounding it reads: "·SVENSKA·RODA·KORSET·". The medal is suspended from a red silk ribbon with two thin white stripes. The medal's case is lined with red velvet and white satin, the outside is red and features a brass push-button closure.

Sterling, silk, velvet, satin, canvas wrapped paperboard, brass

Medals: Horizontal pin with "C" type catch on each; Case: Brass push button locking closure, brass hinged lid.
