ARTIFACT: This is an early World War II Japanese Red Cross medal in silver for a male member. The medallion hangs from a red and light blue striped ribbon and has some beautiful foliage on its front, including some paulownia flowers.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated, silk.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension ring, ribbon, hook and eye hanger.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII Japanese Red Cross collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX14 LEJX3/14 SeVGJX06/19

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal shows only very light wear and tarnish.
