ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver World War II United States Navy sweetheart pin. The pin is a small crest with two anchors joined by a chain to an enameled diamond reading USN.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Pins are approximately 3/8" by 5/8" and 1/2" by 7/16"; chain is 2" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two horizontal pins with drop-in locking swivel catches; chain.

MARKINGS: H-H STERLING on reverse of eagle pin; STERLING STER on reverse of diamond pin.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows some light wear and small spots of tarnish.
