Sterling WWII US Army "War Eagle" Colonel Insignia by Luxenberg

This is a World War II United States Army "War Eagle" Colonel insignia in sterling silver by Luxenberg. The eagle is clutching arrows and a branch and bearing a crest.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 5/8" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

Sterling silver with brass clutchbacks. Front appears to have been Rhodium plated.

Two posts with covered clutch-back catches.
