ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army badge for a driver qualified to drive tracked vehicles, such as tanks. The badge is in sterling silver and has an "F" maker mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch; chain links.
MARKINGS:STERLING "F" maker mark.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. V/AJL98 LDEX4/12 SDEX02/22
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge shows some small areas of light to moderate wear and tarnish.
