This is a World War II United States Army nurse officer collar insignia. The insignia is a caduceus bearing the letter N.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling, gilt sterling.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:STERLING and PAT. numbers on backings.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX95 LBIX4/12 SBGX8/18
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish.
