ARTIFACT: This is a sterling World War II United States Air Corps son-in-service pin on its original card. The pin is in two pieces, with a winged shield at the top and a rectangle with a single star at its center hanging below.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 9/16" in width; card is by 1-11/16" by 1-3/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated sterling silver with enamel, oaktag.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin, suspension loops.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VEXL95 LDEX8/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish.
