Description
ARTIFACT:
This is a sterling silver World War II United States Air Corps pin chained pin by Tru-Art. The pin is in two pieces joined by a chain, with one pin being the a V for victory and the other being a winged propeller.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Wing pin: approximately 3/4" in height and 1-1/8" in width; V pin: approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-5/16" in width"; chain is about 3" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:
Plated sterling silver, sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pins with come-under swivel locking catches, suspension loops, chain.
MARKINGS:
TRU ART STERLING on V pin.

CONDITION:
7 (Very Fine): The pin shows some small areas of light to medium wear and tarnish, especially on the V pin.
