This is a sterling World War II Merchant Marine Officers Overseas Cap Insignia.

Circa WWII.

About 1-5/16" in width by 1-7/16" in height.

Sterling silver and 10K gold.

Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

1/20-10K EXCEPT FITTINGS (markings are pretty faded and difficult to read).
