ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia in sterling silver by Robbins for the United States Army 321st Infantry Regiment, 81st Division. The DI shows a wonderful wildcat and a pine branch in glittering enamel, as well as a blue banner bearing two fleur-de-lis. The regiment's motto EN AVANT (forward) is at bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-1/8" in height x 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO MASS. STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX08 LFEX10/10 SFEX12/09/21

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): DI has light wear and tarnish.
