This is a distinctive insignia in sterling silver by Robbins for the United States Army 321st Infantry Regiment, 81st Division. The DI shows a wonderful wildcat and a pine branch in glittering enamel, as well as a blue banner bearing two fleur-de-lis. The regiment's motto EN AVANT (forward) is at bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-1/8" in height x 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO MASS. STERLING.
