This is a sterling silver 1960s Southern Airlines wing by O.C. Tanner. The wing reads SOUTHERN AIRWAYS at center and shows a lone gull in flight. Southern Airways also trained United States Army pilots during the 1960s.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:3/4" height and 2-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with blue and white enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Double screw posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:STERLING and O. C. Tanner maker's mark.
