ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1960's Braniff Airways agent hat badge 5th issue in heavy gold fill by O.C. Tanner. The badge is a wing with BI shown in white enamel at the center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960's.

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" in height and 2-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-filled with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing and two posts with clutch-back catches.

MARKINGS:

OCT?? (O. C. Tanner mark) 1/5 10K.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RON LAGEX11/10 SABEX8/16 SLAGE11/16

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge has some very minor abrasions and one spot in enamel that is slightly chipped away, but not all the way through.
