ARTIFACT:
This is a cool old presentation lighter for twenty-five years of service with Everett Avenue Auto Parts of Chelsea, Massachusetts, which is still in business today. The lighter is engraved with the year 1949 and presented to Abraham Rubin. Rubin's initials are engraved on the opposite side. The company logo and motto WE HAVE IT are above the words: "1924-1949 25th Anniversary Presented to Abraham Rubin by Personnel Everett Ave. Auto Parts". The lighter is in sterling silver and was made by Elgin American.

Circa 1949.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 2-1/8" in width and 3/8" in thickness

Sterling silver.

Hinge.
