ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1940s nurse graduation pin from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. There was a St. Vincent's nursing school in both Worcester, Massachusetts and Bridgeport, Connecticut, and this pin is most likely for one of them. It is by Dieges & Clust in enameled sterling silver.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

DIEGES & CLUST STERLING.
