ARTIFACT: This is a World War II lapel pin by Dieges & Clust for the United States Army Air Forces air base in Bermuda known as Fort Bell Kindley Field. Prior to joining the war effort, the US was given rights by the British government to construct an air base for joint use by the two countries. The pin is a winged missile with an enameled center showing an aircraft and reading BERMUDA AIRBASE FORT BELL KINDLEY FIELD.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" height and 15/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw pin with disc backing.

MARKINGS: STERLING GOLD PLATED DIEGES & CLUST.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin shows very light wear and tarnishing.
