Spanish-American War USN Cap Tally for USS Uncas, Ocean Tug No. 51

This is a circa Spanish-American War era United States Navy cap tally for the USS Uncas, Ocean Tug No. 5Originally a commercial tugboat owned by Luckenbach & Company, the Uncas was recruited for naval service in 1898, capturing and sinking ships off the coast of Cuba. She was decommissioned in March 1922.

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 36-3/4" in length.
