Spanish-American War USN Cap Tally for USS Newark, C-1, Protected Cruiser

This is a circa Spanish-American War era United States Navy cap tally for the USS Newark, C-1, a protected cruiser. The Newark saw much service during the Spanish-American War, the Philippine Insurrection and the Boxer Rebellion. The Newark was launched on March 19, 1890 and decommissioned in June 1912.

Circa Spanish-American War (1898).

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 38-1/2" in length.
