ARTIFACT:

This is a Spanish American War era corps badge for United States Army 3rd Corps, 3rd Division, 1st Regiment. The badge is beautifully enameled in cobalt blue and has a "1" at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa Spanish American War (1898).

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
