ARTIFACT: This is a Spanish-American War badge for Company "K" of the Vermont National Guard, 1st Rifles Battalion. The insignia is shield with two crossed rifles and reads BENNINGTON 1 CO. K V.N.G. RIFLES.

VINTAGE: Circa Spanish-American War.

SIZE: 13/16" height and 11/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: BRAXMAR N.Y.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MBJL97 LAAEX 7/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge shows light wear and some spots of tarnish.
