This is a Spanish-American War badge for Company "K" of the Vermont National Guard, 1st Rifles Battalion. The insignia is shield with two crossed rifles and reads BENNINGTON 1 CO. K V.N.G. RIFLES.
VINTAGE:Circa Spanish-American War.
SIZE:13/16" height and 11/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:BRAXMAR N.Y.
