Description
This is a small World War II Caterpillar Club pin on its original card accompanied by its original envelope. The "Caterpillar Club" is a designation given to those servicemen who had successfully bailed out of a compromised aircraft by using a parachute.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Pin: approximately 3/16" in height and 3/4" in width; card: approximately 1-5/8" square; envelope: approximately 1-3/4" square.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated with enamel; oaktag; wax paper.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The pin shows very light wear only and the card and envelope have only very minor creasing.
