Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a WWII-era pin made for a member of the British Royal Air Force, one Flight Sergeant D.P. Crump. The pin is shaped like a caterpillar in motion.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

3/4" long.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

10 karat gold body with either small garnets or rubies for eyes.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS:

"F/S D.P. CRUMP " engraved on reverse.

ITEM NOTES:
