This is a circa 1880s to 1890s badge in 10 karat gold (tested) that reads "Council 10", possibly for a City Council member, possibly from Boston since it was found there any years ago. The badge is small and lightweight (1.55 grams) with lovely engraved decorative details.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880's - 1890's.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in diameter. 1.55 Grams.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold (tested).
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with C catch on plate.
