ARTIFACT:

This is a Small but Wonderful Grouping of WWI US Air Service 50^th Aero squadron E. M. (COOK) Gideon Algoode Including a Dog tag, Cook Patch, Small 50^th Aero Sq Reunion Pendant, And a Huge Sterling on Bronze Veteran Watch Fob circa 1919 – 1920. Only the 2nd one of these we’ve seen.

VINTAGE: World War I.

SIZE: Approximately:

Dog tag: 1-3/8” in diameter.

Cook Patch: 2-7/16” in height x 2-9/16” in width.

Aero Sq Reunion Pendant: 1-1/8” in height x 3/4” in width. (without loop)

Watch Fob: 3-5/8” in height x 1-11/16” in width. Chain: 4-1/8” in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 

Dog tag: Aluminum

Cook Patch: Wool felt stitched on Twill with Silk/Cotton thread.

Aero Sq Reunion Pendant: Bronze.

Watch Fob: Bronze, Sterling Silver.

ATTACHMENT: 

Dog tag: Hole.

Patch: To be sewn on to the Uniform.

Pendant: Loop.

Watch Fob: Chain with Hooks.
