Description
This is a circa 1950s lapel pin for the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC). Still active today, BARC was first known in 1912 as the Cyclecar Club. After the close of the Great War, the organization became known as the Junior Car Club (JCC), and in 1949 became known as BARC. The pin is silver-plated with bright enameling and has an interesting crescent-shaped lapel stud.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Crescent-shaped lapel stud.
