This is a circa 1950s lapel pin for membership in the Quarter Century Aviation Club. The group was formed in 1952 by Bill Windrum, a Canadian Airways pilot, and was for aviation enthusiasts with at least twenty-five years experience: an exclusive group at the time. The pin Is nicely enameled with a maple leaf at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 7/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-): The pin shows only light wear with some discoloration to the reverse only.
