Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a silver CBI distinctive insignia made in the China-Burma-India theatre. The pin is a crest with silver and red enameled stripes with a silver sun and moon against a field of blue above.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 15/16" in height and 3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical Y pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

SILVER.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a Chinese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX95 LHEX12/10 SDJX3/16

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin is beautifully colored and has moderate tarnish and some small spots of light wear.
