ARTIFACT:

This is a nice "CBI" distinctive insignia made in the China-Burma-India theatre. The pin is a crest with white and red enameled stripes, one of them reading CBI, and a sun and moon against a field of blue above.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical Y pin with "C" catch.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Pin has some oxidation on reverse with a light to medium tarnish and wear.
