ARTIFACT:

Scarce WWII United States Army Air Forces Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) issue shoulder patch. The patch is a great Disney design and features "e;Fifinella"e;, the friendly female gremlin drawn by Roald Dahl for the big screen but instead adopted by the WASPS as their mascot.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered, cotton/ & silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn on.
