Scarce WWII United States Army Air Forces 43rd Service Group / 43rd Air Base Group distinctive insignia (DI) by Dondero. The gilt and enameled DI depicts a leafy, stemmed red rose against a yellow background and a scroll along the bottom reads: "SERVICE AND SECURITY" in black enamel detail.
