Scarce WWII American Red Cross Officer Hat Badge Maker Marked by Balfour

Scarce WWII American Red Cross Officer hat badge, maker marked, by Balfour. The large, beautiful badge features an eagle with wings spread facing the viewer's left, his torso is a round enameled center of red, white, and blue that shows the Red cross emblem in the center and is surrounded by white, a blue enameled ring along the outer edge reads: "AMERICAN RED CROSS" and beneath is encircled by a wreath.
