ARTIFACT: Scarce Vietnam War United States Military M1966 Jungle Boots size 7-1/2 and dated 1969. The boots feature an olive drab nylon upper half with black leather and steel grommets in the front lace area and a black leather bottom with screen vents to keep your feet cool and dry. They are Spike Protective and feature a panama tread. The spike protective advancements came after many soldiers complained of injuries received by punji stake traps, and therefore the boot was fitted with a steel plate.

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War, 1969.

SIZE: Approximately Size 7-1/2; Approximately Sole: 11-1/2" x 4"; 9-1/4" tall.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nylon, leather, steel, rubber.

ATTACHMENT: Laces and steel grommets.
