ARTIFACT: Scarce late WWII United States Army Air Forces 14th Air Force patch type distinctive insignia. This example is the usual convex variation showing a tiger in the center of a blue enameled disc, above the tiger, a white five pointed star displays a red center.

VINTAGE: Circa late WWII

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-EDK-25-15 LFEX11/15

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the enamel and gilt details remain intact.
