ARTIFACT: Scarce, late 1940's National Flying Farmers' Association lapel wings. The NFFA was the predecessor of the Modern International Flying Farmers. The lapel wings shows a blue enameled shield in the center with the letters: "NFFA"

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: "GREEN XC"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a civil aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX16 LFJX6/16

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The lapel wings show moderate to heavy wear and oxidation, some enamel loss, much of the gilt details remain intact, overall fine condition.
