Rare Late 1940's Coast Guard League Lapel Wings (Defunct Organization)

This is a circa late 1940's lapel wings for the Coast Guard League. Now defunct, the organization's mission was to preserve Coast Guard tradition, honor fallen sailors, and look out for the welfare of USCG veterans and families in need. The enameled center is an applied piece independent of the wings themselves.

Circa late 1940's.

Approximately 1/2" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

Gilt, enameled brass.

Horizontal pin with tongue-style catch.
