This is a scarce early World War II United States Air Corps pilot wing in sterling silver by Amico. This wing has Amico's pre-war maker mmark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height x 3-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:Pre-WWII Amico maker mark and STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX11 LBHEX3/12 SBHEX10/12/23
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows only light wear and some small areas of tarnish.
