ARTIFACT: Scarce early 1930's Nazi Party SA (Sturmabteilung) Reserve Armband. The armband is made in the party colors of red, white, and black. The center displays a white circle with a black swastika in the center, the armband is red with a white border. The inside features a paper label that reads: "RZM 131 No. 6 (?)6683". The SA predates Hitler's Nazi Germany and the SS. The SA generally provided protection during Nazi rallies and assemblies. The Sturmabteilung was eventually overcome in 1934 by the SS and Heinrich Himmler, who was put in charge to contain and control the power of leaders of the SA.

SIZE: Approximately 7-5/8" x 4-3/8"

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The armband shows moderate wear and soiling, an area of damage on edge (see photo), paper label remains mostly intact, overall very fine condition.
