Description
This is a beautiful early SA (Sturm Abteilung/Stormtroopers) dagger with a leather hanger by a scarce maker, Herman Hahn. The blade reads ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND (all for Germany) and has a Om (Ostmark) Gau stamp.
VINTAGE:Circa 1933-1938.
SIZE:Approximately 14-3/4" in length and 3-1/8" in width (at widest part of handle); hanger is about 7-1/2" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Steel, nickel-plated steel, enameled brass insert, wood handle, anodized sheath, leather hanger, solid nickel fittings.
ATTACHMENT:Hanger with buckles.
MARKINGS:HERMAN HAHN SOL.-WALD with Hahn maker's mark and Om.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The knife blade is in superb condition. The sheath shows some slight abrasions and the leather is lightly worn in with some minor cracking.
