This is a scarce circa 1947 United States Air Force enlisted man cap badge. The badge design is similar to the Army symbol, though pierced, and is still used today by the USAF in silver.
VINTAGE:Circa 1947.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows some small spots of light wear.
