Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce United States Navy flight surgeon wing by H&H Imperial. The wing shows an oak leaf and a silver acorn at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1942.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in length x 1" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated and silver plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin (locking mechanism is missing from catch).

MARKINGS:

H&H IMPERIAL.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows moderate wear and has a fantastic design; locking mechanism is missing from catch.
